Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years culinary experience preferably in a steakhouse or similar restaurant
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
  • Basic knowledge of food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven culinary experience preferably in a steakhouse or fine dining environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to create inventive and appealing menu items
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control in a kitchen setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist Executive Chef when Executive Chef is present and act on behalf of Executive Chef when absent in organizing training and employee management
  • Assist Executive Chef to prepare necessary data for budget and project annual food labor and other costs and monitor actual financial results and take corrective actions as necessary
  • Regularly create unique dishes and menu items for daily features and specialty events and consult with guests to meet dietary restrictions and palate preferences
