Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years culinary experience preferably in a steakhouse or similar restaurant
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Proven culinary experience preferably in a steakhouse or fine dining environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to create inventive and appealing menu items
- Experience with budgeting and cost control in a kitchen setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
Job Duties
- Assist Executive Chef when Executive Chef is present and act on behalf of Executive Chef when absent in organizing training and employee management
- Assist Executive Chef to prepare necessary data for budget and project annual food labor and other costs and monitor actual financial results and take corrective actions as necessary
- Regularly create unique dishes and menu items for daily features and specialty events and consult with guests to meet dietary restrictions and palate preferences
