The role offered is for a Kitchen Manager who will be accountable for the overall success of daily kitchen operations at Gaylord Hotels. This integral leadership position requires managing all food-related activities while maintaining high standards of culinary excellence and operational efficiency. The Kitchen Manager will exhibit strong culinary skills by actively participating in kitchen tasks and guiding kitchen staff to ensure consistent production of high-quality food items. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related area
- Or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related area
- Ability to manage kitchen operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle customer complaints
- Proficiency in scheduling and labor management systems
