Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of OSHA, Health Department, and HACCP regulations
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Effective teamwork and leadership abilities
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Willingness to comply with company dress code and safety standards
- Positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sous chef or similar culinary role
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations including HACCP
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen management
- Ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with budgeting and inventory management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary certification or degree preferred
Job Duties
- Provide highest quality of service in line with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
- Utilize food preparation procedures complying with federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance and human resources
- Monitor and review HACCP logs
- Assemble ready-to-eat menu items according to standardized recipes
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment complying with ISS/Guckenheimer and regulatory standards
- Support management with monthly inventory
- Notify management of concerns regarding product quantities, food/equipment safety, or other issues
- Attend all daily meetings
- Report all accidents and injuries promptly
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
