The company fosters a workplace where discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation is strictly prohibited, making it a welcoming environment for all individuals. As a service provider, Aramark delivers innovative solutions that enhance the daily experiences of those they serve, encompassing various industries such as education, healthcare, business, sports, and leisure.

Emphasizing health and safety, Aramark has implemented strict production norms and safety protocols, underscoring the essential importance of maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

This role goes beyond basic food preparation—it is a chance to grow professionally, express culinary creativity, develop new skills, and ignite passion for the culinary arts. Whether cutting, trimming, or seasoning ingredients, employing multiple cooking techniques, or meticulously organizing and decorating dishes, the Sous Chef plays a pivotal part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to customers. The role requires a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and dedication to upholding Aramark's safety and sanitation standards. This commitment ensures not only the well-being of employees but also the safety of the food served and the protection of the company’s assets.

Employees have access to leadership development, skill training, career advancement workshops, and online learning platforms. The company also offers a diverse range of benefits for eligible employees, including comprehensive health insurance coverage such as medical, dental, and vision, retirement savings plans like the 401(k), and compensated time away from work including parental leave and disability support. These benefits are designed to support employees in balancing their professional and personal lives effectively.

For those seeking internships or student opportunities, Aramark provides valuable experiences across various departments to jumpstart careers. While the Sous Chef role typically requires hands-on work in a kitchen setting, Aramark supports flexible and remote work arrangements in suitable roles within the company.
