Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as sous chef or similar role in upscale or resort dining
- strong leadership and communication skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- proven success as a sous chef, executive sous chef or kitchen manager in a high-volume upscale restaurant or high-end resort restaurant
- strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge and service
- proven ability to develop team
- knowledge of systems, methods and processes that contribute to great execution
- stable job history demonstrating upward career progression
Job Duties
- support the executive chef in leading a team of culinary professionals
- ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- contribute to building top line sales and guest count
- ensure menu items are executed with excellence
- manage quality in all job aspects
- support profitability management
- develop and motivate kitchen team
