Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
  • Culinary experience leading food preparation at specific stations
  • Knowledge of food safety sanitation and kitchen best practices
  • Ability to supervise small teams
  • Commitment to quality and reliable service
  • Ability to work in a healthcare foodservice environment
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills

  • Culinary experience leading food preparation at a specific station such as salads soups or other assigned areas
  • Working knowledge of food safety sanitation and kitchen best practices
  • Ability to provide guidance and oversight to a small team supervising fewer than two full-time employees
  • Commitment to quality food preparation and reliable service delivery
  • High school diploma GED or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • Lead food preparation and production at an assigned station ensuring quality consistency and presentation standards
  • Maintain proper food handling sanitation and safety practices
  • Provide direction and support to team members assigned to the station
  • Follow all food safety sanitation and workplace safety requirements in alignment with Sodexo and Kaiser Permanente standards
