Job Requirements

  • At least four years culinary experience in a high volume banquet facility
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team of cooks
  • Proficient in managing food costs and quality control
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

  • Experience in menu development and cost control
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Lead a staff of 10 or more cooks with varying experience levels
  • Maintain food costs and budgetary constraints
  • Create and develop innovative menu ideas for a range of events
  • Assess front-of-house and back-of-house operational needs
  • Ensure food quality and consistency at all times
  • Supervise kitchen and stewarding staff in absence of Executive Chef
  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage staff to enhance guest dining experiences
