Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume food service environments with banquet experience preferred
  • Demonstrated supervising and team management skills within a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Strong background in food production culinary techniques and kitchen management
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience working within dietary departments is a plus
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
  • Familiarity with inventory management food handling procedures and food safety standards
  • Previous restaurant or catering management experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in fine dining or high-volume food service environments with banquet experience
  • Strong culinary techniques and kitchen management skills
  • Leadership and staff supervision abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and inventory management
  • Experience in catering or restaurant management is advantageous
  • Menu planning and creative culinary skill set

Job Duties

  • Assist the executive chef in managing all kitchen operations including food preparation presentation and service delivery
  • Scratch kitchen food prep
  • Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of efficiency teamwork and culinary excellence
  • Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency quality and adherence to safety regulations
  • Manage inventory control and ordering to optimize food supplies while minimizing waste
  • Coordinate catering events and banquet services ensuring seamless execution from setup to service
  • Implement and monitor food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
  • Support menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with guest preferences
