In this role, the General Manager is charged with overseeing all front-of-house operations, including staff management, guest relations, financial oversight, and operational efficiency. The General Manager also plays an essential role in recruiting, training, and developing a dedicated team to uphold outstanding service standards, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.

Financial stewardship is another key aspect of the role, with responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue growth to ensure profitability. The General Manager collaborates closely with F&B leadership to align menu offerings with brand vision and adapt to seasonal trends. Furthermore, this leadership position involves coordinating with marketing teams to promote events and live entertainment, thereby enhancing the club's appeal and guest engagement.

The successful candidate possesses at least five years of experience in restaurant or bar management, preferably within a club or social venue setting. They demonstrate exceptional communication skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of hospitality trends, including knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and culinary innovations. The position requires flexibility with schedules, including weekends and holidays, underscoring the nature of the hospitality industry.

The General Manager must also meet physical demands consistent with active front-of-house management, such as standing and walking for extended periods and handling moderate lifting tasks. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and hold or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.

Overall, this role provides an exciting opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to lead a prominent social club within a premier resort, delivering memorable experiences while contributing to the operational success and growth of the Sonoma Social Club.
