Job Description

Maroon is a distinguished restaurant inspired by the history and resilience of the Jamaican Maroons, whose spirit of resourcefulness and determination is deeply embedded in the origins of jerk cooking. This culinary establishment brings together tradition and innovation under the guidance of Chef Kwame Onwuachi, a James Beard Award-winning American chef known for his bold, modern interpretations of Afro-Caribbean and West African cuisine. Maroon is not just a restaurant; it is a cultural hub that honors identity, empowers communities, and creates a meaningful experience for every guest. The name Maroon evokes a connection to survival and ingenuity, which the restaurant reflects in its culinary offerings and service philosophy.

As a company committed to excellence and cultural storytelling through food, Maroon prides itself on delivering not only exceptional dishes but also an immersive atmosphere where guests feel connected to a larger narrative. The team at Maroon is passionate about creating spaces that celebrate heritage and community, offering diners a unique blend of history, flavor, and hospitality.
