Job Requirements

  • Education: high school
  • able to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English
  • Experience: prior experience as a sommelier, wine steward/stewardess or similar role
  • Computer skills: experience using a point of sale (POS) system
  • Certificates and licenses: sommelier certification preferred
  • Other requirements: must meet local, legal minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages
  • coordination skills that allow proper pouring and carrying of several drinks and plates at the same time
  • Extensive knowledge of different wines and the winemaking process
