Job Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in high volume, elevated dining restaurant
- must have Food Handler's Certification
- must be 21+ years of age
- must be authorized to work in the United States
- must be detail oriented and possess effective communication and written skills
- ability to multi-task
- must be a team player
- self-motivated and performance driven
- professional and courteous
- remain in stationary position for up to 8 hours throughout the work shift
- be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of wine and sake lists and food pairings
- clean equipment, tools, and supplies for wine and sake service, and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance
- maintain and update beverage inventory according to set pars and internal controls and request product to maintain stock
- maintain appropriate beverage costs by managing purchases and requisitions, and by performing weekly inventory reconciliation
- maintain accurate beverage menus and POS system and communicate all updates to the appropriate team(s) to ensure accuracy at all times
- assist with the weekly and end of period inventory reconciliations
- meet regularly with the wine and sake trade to actively seek quality wines for the restaurant wine program as well as evaluate wines and other beverages for potential purchase
- eliminate waste by training and supervising employees on wine knowledge, pour levels, proper storage, etc.
- verify accuracy of wine and sake deliveries ordered and received from the main warehouse and return or exchange deliveries when a warehouse error has occurred
- lead regular beverage education sessions during pre-shift meetings
- perform other job-related duties as requested
