Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience working in a fine dining or similar environment
  • certification from a recognized sommelier program preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as a sommelier or in a similar role
  • strong knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and tasting techniques
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to educate staff and guests about wine

Job Duties

  • assist guests with wine selection
  • decant wine for guests
  • develop a training program for staff to learn wine tasting and service
  • order, receive, organize, and sell wine
