- Court of Master Sommelier Certified Sommelier or completed WSET Level 2
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
- Court of Master Sommelier Certified Sommelier or completed WSET Level 2
- Experience in a Forbes five star or Michelin Star environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of wine service standards and food pairings
- Excellent organizational skills
Job Duties
- Welcome every guest with a smile and assist the service team from seating to last drink
- Guide guests through the wine list to find perfect glass or bottle
- Complete full wine service for bottle and glass service tables
- Detect faults in wine and ensure perfect food and wine pairing
- Maintain and stock the wine storage for service readiness
- Assist the General Manager with various roles including leading service team trainings
