The role available is for a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier who thrives in fast-paced, high-end environments. This position demands an individual with a deep enthusiasm for wine, excellent multitasking skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Candidates should have a refined and approachable demeanor, taking pride in their professional appearance and maintaining a well-organized work environment. The ideal candidate is adept at engaging guests both one-on-one and within bustling dining settings, guiding them expertly through wine selections to enhance their overall meal and occasion. Responsibilities include full wine service by bottle and glass, identifying any flaws in wines, and providing expert food and wine pairing recommendations. Additionally, this role requires overseeing wine storage to ensure readiness for service and supporting the General Manager through team training initiatives. Preference is given to those with at least two years of relevant experience, ideally within Forbes five-star or Michelin-starred establishments, holding certifications such as Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier or WSET Level 2.
