Werner Enterprises is a renowned leader in the transportation and logistics industry, well-regarded for its commitment to drivers and providing excellent career opportunities. Founded by a driver for drivers, Werner values the critical role truck drivers play in supporting the nation's supply chain. The company offers a diverse range of truck-driving jobs tailored to fit various experience levels and personal lifestyles, including solo driving, team driving, and leadership roles within its extensive network. Werner focuses on treating every driver with care, dignity, and respect, which is reflected through its comprehensive benefits, competitive pay structures, and a multitude of home time and route options. Werner’s Career Track program is structured to allow drivers to enhance their skills through hands-on experiences under the mentorship of skilled Driver Leaders, making it ideal for both seasoned veterans and recent CDL graduates.
This role is for Solo and Team CDL-A Drivers, offering some of the most competitive salaries in the industry. More than half of Werner's solo drivers earn over $75,000 annually, with top performers reaching upwards of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, particularly on dedicated routes. Team drivers can expect salaries ranging from $55,000 to $85,000+ annually with opportunities for team elite division drivers to earn between $90,000 and $110,000 each year. Werner provides multiple route and home time options including dedicated, OTR, and regional routes, with versatile time off schedules such as daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and tri-weekly to help drivers maintain a healthy work-life balance. These roles feature priority load assignments, team-friendly equipment packages, and a Team Driver Matching Program that takes into account preferences such as gender and veteran status to help drivers find their best teammates.
Besides financial rewards, Werner offers a robust advantages package including a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and tuition reimbursement up to $15,000 for qualifying individuals. Additional benefits include advanced technology and late-model equipment, collision mitigation technology, 100% trailer tracking, and 24-hour maintenance assistance to support drivers on the road. The company is also recognized as a top employer for military veterans and provides a Military Skills Test Waiver and an Elite Veteran Driver Program. Werner's Career Currency Program offers drivers the opportunity to earn college credits based on their career experience, further supporting their personal and professional development.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Class A CDL, have at least 30 days of commercial driving experience, and meet all DOT qualifications including passing a DOT physical and drug screening. Werner is dedicated to finding the best possible job matches for its drivers to help them secure a financial future they can be proud of. With over 250 home time and pay packages to choose from, the company ensures a personalized driver experience that respects each individual's lifestyle and career goals. Whether you are an experienced truck driver or just starting out, Werner invites you to join their team and take advantage of this unique opportunity to grow your truck-driving career.
