Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ICC Soils Special Inspector certification
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade 1 certification
- Certified in CPN Radiation Safety and Nuclear Soil Gauge operation
- Minimum 2 years of soils and concrete testing experience
- OSHA 10 Hour Course completion with certification
- Strong communication skills
- Computer proficiency for reporting
- Ability to read and interpret plans and project instructions
- Must be able to work throughout San Francisco Bay Area
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Confirm recommendations of the geotechnical engineer as described in geotechnical reports implemented by the earthwork contractor
- Read and understand plans and specifications
- Confirm adherence to regulatory agencies' grading ordinances and building codes
- Keep up to date on current projects via communication with project managers and other inspectors
- Perform in place density tests
- Maintain organized field files containing field and laboratory data, reports, letters, and other documentation
- Communicate daily with supervisors and project managers regarding field operations, including reporting issues
- Write daily field reports
