The company also offers reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform their roles successfully. This commitment to employee welfare and corporate responsibility makes MSI an employer of choice in its sector.
The Software Programmer role at MSI is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional skilled in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications. The position is full-time, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a seniority level categorized as Associate. Compensation ranges from $43 to $47 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the base rate, which typically translates to an annual salary between $98,000 and $120,000 or higher, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
This role requires proficiency in C# and Angular (version 10 and above), with a solid understanding of the .NET Framework/Core, RESTful Web API creation and consumption, and familiarity with SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of hands-on software development experience, strong skills in unit testing, debugging, and version control using systems such as TFS, GitHub, or GitLab. The Software Programmer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, business analysts, and software architects, to develop robust and scalable applications that meet business needs. This effective collaboration ensures high-quality software solutions are delivered efficiently and reliably.
The programmer's daily responsibilities involve writing clean and efficient code, testing and debugging applications, and continuously optimizing existing software to minimize system bottlenecks and improve user experience. The role requires thorough documentation practices and adherence to the software development lifecycle (SDLC), encompassing all stages from requirements gathering through maintenance. Effective problem-solving skills and creativity are necessary to resolve development challenges and innovate as needed.
