Northrop Grumman Space Systems — Missile Defense Integration located in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer – TRK (26-274). This critical role supports the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at various levels through the development and maintenance of the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. C2BMC is a vital operational system for missile defense that plans ballistic missile defense operations, monitors battles, and controls sensors and weapon systems globally and regionally to achieve mission goals. It functions as a force multiplier by integrating autonomous systems to optimize defense responses across multiple threat ranges and flight phases.

The Principal Software Engineer will work specifically on the Track Server team, focusing on Java software development to support the Regional Applications teams. The position requires a candidate with expertise across multiple systems and software disciplines who can operate under minimal direction.
