With a strong presence in digital banking and a focus on security, PNC continuously invests in cutting-edge technology and talent to maintain its competitive edge and uphold its reputation for excellence in the financial sector.

As a Software Engineer - iOS/Android within PNC's Digital Security & Authentication organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining secure, scalable mobile and web applications that support PNC's digital transformation initiatives. This position is based in one of several locations including Pittsburgh, PA; Denver, CO; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; or Dallas, TX, offering flexibility and options to work in vibrant tech hubs.

Mobile development skills include proficiency in Swift, Objective-C for iOS, and Kotlin or Java for Android, with preferred experience in cross-platform frameworks such as React Native and Flutter.

The role also emphasizes continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) best practices, automated testing, and performance optimization within cloud and containerized environments like AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of secure coding practices, mobile security, encryption, and compliance with financial industry regulations will be highly valued.

PNC positions itself as an in-office company and encourages open communication between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure alignment of role expectations and career objectives. The compensation package for this role ranges from $60,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on geography, skills, and experience, with eligibility for incentive programs based on individual and company performance.

PNC offers a comprehensive suite of benefits, including various insurance options, retirement plans, wellness programs, and paid time off, to support employee well-being and work-life balance. The company strongly supports diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and provides accommodations to qualified individuals throughout the hiring process. In addition, PNC complies with applicable federal regulations and follows Equal Employment Opportunity principles, ensuring a fair and respectful workplace.
