The role on offer is a pivotal Software Architect position tasked with leading the architectural design and development efforts for the next generation of the company’s AI-powered insurance platform. The architect will be responsible for establishing scalable, robust, and maintainable systems across a diverse technology stack that includes modern web applications, microservices, integrations, and APIs. This role involves a high degree of cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Product, Engineering, Business, Data, Finance, and Operations to define and execute the company’s technical strategy in a fast-growing, innovative setting.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of AI-driven insurance solutions, with responsibilities ranging from architecting agentic AI workflows to automating and enhancing solutions tailored to agents and customers. They will set the direction for microservices architecture built on Java and the Spring ecosystem, ensuring systems are loosely coupled, resilient, and scalable. Integration engineering forms a significant part of the role, focusing on seamless interaction with external systems and establishing API standards for both internal and external consumers.

Additionally, the Software Architect will lead frontend architecture design with an emphasis on modular, scalable components using technologies such as Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS. They will steer development teams toward building high-performance enterprise web applications. Establishing comprehensive strategies for monitoring and observability to uphold system health, reliability, and performance is another critical duty. The role also requires defining testing and quality engineering standards to maintain excellence in component, integration, and end-to-end automated testing. Architectural guidance will be provided for data engineering tasks, including data migration, ETL processes, and overall data flow design.

User experience is paramount, and the architect will ensure interfaces are responsive and flawless across devices and browsers. Collaboration across multiple teams is essential, requiring the translation of business needs into scalable technical solutions. The candidate will maintain detailed technical documentation encompassing architecture patterns, design standards, and major technical decisions, contributing to organizational knowledge and continuity.
