In this role, the Soft Count Clerk is tasked with performing daily cash counts and precisely recording the contents of casino drop boxes by adhering strictly to department policies and procedures. This includes the sorting and counting of chips and currency, verifying the amounts of strapped currency, posting and consolidating games summary sheets, and reconciling posted figures with counted amounts. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount to prevent discrepancies and to ensure the integrity of casino operations.
