Job Requirements

Minimum legal age to serve alcohol according to state law
Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks
Must be physically fit to move lift carry pull push and place items up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Standing walking reaching and bending throughout shift

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Outstanding guest services and communication skills professional presentation and neat appearance
Knowledge of popular cocktails and wines
Basic computer knowledge (Micros or other POS systems)
TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certificate
Excellent eye for detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Effective listening understanding and clarifying guest concerns
Ability to communicate in English second language is a plus
Knowledge of food handling policies procedures and sanitation standards

Job Duties

Greet each guest promptly after seating in a sincerely warm friendly manner using the guest's name
Present menu answer questions make suggestions regarding beverage and food
Know the ingredients preparation and proper presentation of all beverage items and specials to ensure that every product delivered to the guest adheres to the highest quality possible
Remain observant and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each beverage and or food course
Assist bartenders and provide personalized service to all guests
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
Know layout of lounge hotel and location of all equipment and supplies
Assist as needed to maintain standards of appearance sanitation and service in all areas of the lounge
Ensure compliance with all state alcohol requirements
Key in pre check orders on the Micros terminal promptly and accurately
Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management
