Job Description

One of The Sage Group's esteemed clients, a leading cloud-native, low-code/no-code iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) provider, is actively seeking a Social Events Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This innovative technology company specializes in enterprise-grade automation solutions, offering a platform that enables various departments including IT, HR, finance, and marketing teams to seamlessly connect applications and automate workflows enhanced by artificial intelligence and a suite of pre-built connectors. Their cutting-edge solutions empower organizations to streamline operations without requiring extensive coding expertise, positioning them as a prominent player in the automation and integration industry.

The client is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Social Events Coordinator on a hybrid basis in San Francisco, California, with the position expected to commence immediately and extend through January 2027. This role comes with competitive compensation ranging from $30 to $45 per hour, with potential opportunities for contract extension and contract-to-hire transitions based on performance and business needs.

The Social Events Coordinator position sits uniquely at the crossroads of live event production and digital community engagement. This role involves comprehensive ownership of the planning, execution, and amplification of both in-person and virtual events. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing event logistics with meticulous attention to detail, including vendor coordination, scheduling, venue arrangements, onsite execution, and post-event reporting. Beyond logistics, the role requires a creative digital storyteller who can translate the excitement and energy of live events into engaging, platform-tailored social media content across various channels such as YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, GitHub, X, and TikTok.

This individual will bridge the gap between the internal technology stack—which includes tools like Asana for project management, Luma, Salesforce, and Marketo—and outward-facing social platforms to maximize audience engagement and brand visibility. The role demands proficiency in real-time social media engagement, the ability to create polished digital content using rapid editing tools such as CapCut, and a keen understanding of social trends, tagging protocols, and analytics to drive measurable results in event attendance and community growth.

In summary, this role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for both operational excellence in event management and innovative digital marketing strategies. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution and impactful social amplification, thereby enhancing the client’s brand presence and community relationships.
