The role of Social Event Planning Manager is pivotal within this esteemed hotel. The Social Event Planning Manager’s responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of social events such as wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and other celebrations. This involves administering contracts, managing food and beverage selections, overseeing audio-visual requirements, handling guest room blocks, and supervising timelines and billing processes. The role demands strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, hotel teams, and external vendors, ensuring every event runs smoothly and client expectations are exceeded.

A key facet of this role is being the onsite contact during events, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting in real-time to keep the atmosphere stress-free and enjoyable. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably two years of hotel or wedding/event planning experience
  • Proficiency in general computer systems and event management software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events in fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina for standing and walking extended periods
  • Ability to lift moderate weight
