As a Food Service Supervisor at Aramark, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team within the Food Services department. This full-time position pays an hourly rate between $22.00 and $24.00, which reflects Aramark’s commitment to offering competitive and fair compensation. Working under the guidance of a manager, you will help coordinate daily operations, oversee the food service staff, and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen and serving areas.
Your role will be critical in maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, ensuring that all food is stored, prepared, and served in compliance with company policies and health regulations. You will also play a pivotal part in scheduling work shifts, managing inventory, and maintaining a hazard-free, sanitary work environment. Beyond these operational tasks, supervising and mentoring staff to promote professional development, teamwork, and morale will be among your core responsibilities.
Your leadership will extend to performing quality checks, managing equipment maintenance logs, and occasionally filling in for absent employees. The role demands versatility, including participation in night and weekend catered events, handling cashier duties when required, and maintaining clear and continuous communication with staff. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of supervisory experience in a food service environment preferred
- completion of or willingness to complete a sanitation course
- ability to operate food service equipment efficiently
- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- basic math skills
- capability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
