The Social Bay Concierge position at Dave & Buster's plays a critical role in delivering these exceptional guest experiences within the interactive Social Bays area. This role focuses on guiding groups of guests through a selection of enjoyable activities and games tailored to their interests and group dynamic. As a Social Bay Concierge, you act as the face of fun and hospitality, warmly welcoming guests and engaging them with your knowledge and enthusiasm. You will advise guests on game choices, offer strategic tips, and ensure that every group has the tools and guidance needed for maximum enjoyment and friendly competition. Beyond providing exceptional service during game play, you will collaborate with food and beverage teams to ensure timely service, assist guests with technical issues regarding gaming equipment, and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting social setting. This position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a lively environment, and a passion for creating memorable social experiences. The Social Bay Concierge must be attentive, proactive, and focused on guest satisfaction, embodying the spirit of Dave & Buster's commitment to fun and excellence.

This role is part-time or full-time with an hourly wage range of $7.25 to $10.75, making it accessible to a broad range of applicants, including students and part-time workers. The position requires employees to be at least 18 years old and to adhere to a professional dress code reflecting the company’s standards of neatness and cleanliness. Duties include extensive physical activity such as standing for long periods, lifting and carrying items up to 30 pounds, and working in noisy and fast-moving environments. Job Duties

  • deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
  • keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
  • take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action
  • welcome and engage all guests by providing exceptional service that creates unforgettable experiences
  • create an environment of high engagement and fun for our guests
  • guide groups of guests through collaborative activities and games
  • be the knowledge master of the game types and provide tips and tricks to the guests to have the best experience
  • understand guest's needs to determine which game(s) is best for the group
  • support guests with any service and basic technical questions
  • alert the amusement team when something beyond basic technical assistance is required
  • partner with the service team to ensure our guests receive prompt and attentive beverage and food service
  • complete any required side work to support the set-up and break down of the social bays
  • reset and clean bays to approved standards after use to prepare for next guests
  • adhere to company's sanitation procedures
  • follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
  • assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
  • assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
  • maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness
  • be skilled in effectively communicating with guests in order to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster’s experience
  • be able to read and communicate in English
  • dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
  • be at least 18 years of age
