The company specializes in delivering exceptional management services to various properties, including luxury resorts, residential communities, and commercial properties. Associa is committed to enhancing the living and recreational experience of residents and guests by fostering vibrant, well-managed communities that emphasize quality service and community engagement. Their expertise, coupled with a customer-oriented approach, has earned them a reputable standing in the industry. One of their notable projects includes managing Outdoor Resort Indio (ORI), a premier luxury Class A motorcoach resort located in Indio, California. ORI is widely recognized for its upscale amenities, scenic location, and a robust calendar of social and recreational activities that contribute to a lively and inclusive resort atmosphere.
The Social Activities Coordinator role at Associa offers an exciting seasonal full-time opportunity at ORI. This position is integral to the resort's social activities program, responsible for curating and executing a comprehensive and engaging calendar of events designed to elevate the guest and owner experience throughout the resort season. The coordinator acts as the creative and operational center, working closely with the volunteer Social Activities Committee, comprised of dedicated lot owners who offer insights and guidance to ensure event programming remains fresh, innovative, and aligned with the luxury nature of the resort.
This role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and interpersonal skills, serving as the face of the resort’s social program. The coordinator is tasked with managing all aspects of event planning, from concept development to logistical execution, including vendor management, catering, decoration, and entertainment coordination. Essential financial responsibilities include budget management and compliance with California sales tax regulations concerning event transactions. Additionally, the coordinator oversees communication and engagement with resort owners and guests by creating an inclusive, welcoming environment that encourages participation and strengthens community bonds.
This full-time seasonal position runs through the resort season, ending May 1st, 2027, and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.00 to $27.00, based on experience. It demands an energetic, enthusiastic individual capable of working a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event needs. This is a prime opportunity for driven professionals eager to bring dynamic social experiences to a luxury resort setting while cultivating meaningful community relationships in an engaging, fast-paced environment.
