This championship 6,594-yard course, designed by legendary architect Robert Muir Graves, offers golfers of all skill levels an outstanding test of precision and skill. The course features a variety of unique and challenging holes, including two picturesque ponds, tight doglegs, and large, undulating greens that demand accuracy and strategy. The role of Snack Bar Attendant at Franklin Canyon Golf Course is central to maintaining the high standard of hospitality for which the course is known. This part-time, non-seasonal position offers competitive pay starting at $18-20 per hour, plus tips, depending on experience. The Snack Bar Attendant provides direct, friendly service to guests in the golf and hospitality setting, especially during the times when golfers gather at the snack bar and bar area after their rounds. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including cooking menu items on the grill and deep fryer, bartending, preparing and serving food and beverages, operating point-of-sale systems, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service areas.
Team members in this role are essential to creating a positive guest experience through efficient, courteous, and attentive service. The position also includes participating in banquet and special event services as needed, following strict food safety and alcohol service regulations, and performing additional duties as assigned by management. The job requires handling light cashiering and bartending tasks, ensuring that cash drawers are balanced at the end of shifts, and keeping inventory well-stocked and organized. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, as well as bending, stooping, and other movements necessary for stocking and cleaning in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to operate point-of-sale and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Must obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days
- Must obtain Responsible Beverage Server Certification within 60 days

Job Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guest from the Snack Bar
- Cook menu items on grill and deep fryer
- Stock all necessary items in the Snack Bar and Pro Shop
- Maintain and ensure cleanliness of snack bar area
- Keep all product organized and stocked
- Manage all payments and cash
- Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift
- Complete assigned side-work and prep-work
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management
