In this role, Snack Bar Attendants will greet guests with warm, friendly smiles, respecting and valuing each customer interaction. They will operate point-of-sale systems to process orders efficiently, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure that all beverages and food items are prepared following prescribed recipes and portion controls to maintain quality standards. The work includes serving cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as an assortment of food offerings, requiring attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Additionally, Snack Bar Attendants are expected to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout their shift by performing general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products. They will complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists to ensure that the workplace remains organized and meets all operational standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or customer-facing roles preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • willingness to learn and follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • good communication skills
  • ability to handle cash accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in quick service restaurants, coffee or tea shops, or fast casual restaurant concepts
  • ability to work well in fast-paced environments
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • basic math skills to handle cash transactions
  • familiarity with POS systems preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and food safety procedures
  • strong work ethic and team collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system
  • receive payment from the customer and process change
  • serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests
  • follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  • complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  • perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
  • other duties as assigned
