As a Snack Bar Attendant at SSP America, you will play an essential role in preparing, serving, and selling a wide assortment of beverages and food items to travelers who rely on a quick caffeine fix or a convenient snack. This position offers competitive pay at $22.05 per hour plus tips, along with flexible hours that can accommodate full-time and part-time schedules. Training is provided to ensure you are well-equipped to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

The role demands a friendly, customer-centric approach as you greet guests warmly, take and process orders using a point of sale (POS) system, handle payments accurately, and deliver high-quality service swiftly. As part of the snack bar team, you will prepare and serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks, follow established recipes and portion controls, maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, and adhere to health and safety standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system
  • receive payment from the customer and process change
  • serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests
  • follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  • complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required
  • perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
  • other duties as assigned
