Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information
- ability to request supplies orally or in writing
- must be able to perform medium work involving exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- clarity of vision at a distance greater than 20 inches
- color vision
- depth perception
- physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- must adhere to personal hygiene and dress policies

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- assist customers with finding products and carrying items
- answer the telephone promptly and take customer orders
- take customer orders at the counter
- work with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant environment
- handle food safely and ensure the work area is clean and neat
- review the status and appearance of food for freshness
- ensure an adequate food supply is ready and follow a production list
- anticipate daily product needs
- prepare and replenish product as necessary
- check in product and put it away
- run department registers and receive payment
- remove trash timely
- maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- report to work as scheduled and on time
- wash dishes as necessary
- order products and supplies
- price products for customers
- assist in other areas of the store as needed
- perform other job related duties and special projects as required
