Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Visual acuity and abilities including color vision, depth perception
- Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear and perform repetitive motions
- Willingness to adhere to hygiene and dress codes
- Availability to report to work on schedule
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Commitment to customer-focused service
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills including simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers’ names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading or unloading items, passing along suggestions
- Answers telephone promptly and takes orders
- Takes customer orders at the counter
- Works as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handles food safely and maintains clean work area
- Reviews food freshness
- Ensures adequate food supply and follows production list
- Prepares and replenishes products
- Checks in and puts away product
- Runs registers and handles payment
- Removes trash timely
- Maintains personal hygiene and dress standards
- Adheres to company policies
- Reports to work on time
- Washes dishes
- Orders products and supplies
- Prices products
- Assists in other store areas
- Performs related duties and special projects
