The Smart Factory Automation Project Manager role at TRUMPF is pivotal in delivering state-of-the-art sheet metal processing automation systems to customers worldwide. This position involves managing the entire lifecycle of complex installation projects, from the initial pre-installation site visits through to the successful system acceptance and customer sign-off. The Project Manager acts as a key liaison among various departments including Engineering, Software, Service, Assembly, Training, and Applications, ensuring seamless coordination and clear communication throughout the project. As the lead contact during the project execution phase, the project manager is responsible for defining detailed project timelines that clarify all activities, responsibilities, milestones, and due dates, coordinating internal and external resources accordingly.
