The Slot Performance Manager role at Graton Resort & Casino is a pivotal position designed for a strategic and analytical professional passionate about optimizing slot floor operations to maximize revenue and enhance player experiences. This role focuses on developing and implementing a comprehensive and detailed slot strategy roadmap that leverages industry trends, detailed performance metrics, labor analyses, and profit and loss reports. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Slot Performance Manager provides strategic recommendations that ensure the slot department's alignment with the broader organizational vision and financial goals.

The individual in this role must possess an in-depth knowledge of slot products and their performance on the casino floor, enabling informed decisions regarding slot product additions, removals, and technological upgrades. The position requires collaboration with the Slot Technical Manager and Operations Manager to administer critical systems such as IGT machine accounting, RealWinn Solutions, and OPTX. In addition to the technical oversight, the Slot Performance Manager is responsible for preparing detailed financial reviews and business plans to support capital purchases and investments.

A significant aspect of the role involves continuous improvement and operational efficiency, working closely with the Slot Operations team to optimize labor-to-business volume ratios, ensuring cost-effective staffing and productivity. The manager is also expected to stay abreast of industry advancements by researching and evaluating new slot manufacturers and emerging technologies that may offer competitive advantages.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, gaming management, finance, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in slot performance management or gaming operations
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and financial reports
  • Proficiency in slot machine accounting systems and related software

Job Duties

  • Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while supporting and promoting company values
  • Provide timely and insightful recommendations and reports to Executive Leadership
  • Maintain deep understanding of slot products and evaluate their performance on the gaming floor
  • Deliver comprehensive product plans weekly, monthly, and quarterly to slot team and leadership
  • Collaborate with Slot Technical team to administer departmental systems including IGT machine accounting, RealWinn Solutions, and OPTX
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support capital machine purchases and revenue estimations
  • Assist Slot Operations in optimizing labor-to-business volume ratios
  • Research and evaluate new slot manufacturers and technologies
  • Prepare financial review documentation highlighting areas for improvement
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
