The Slice House Counter Attendant position is a vital role within the Marketplace dining area at Graton Resort and Casino. This role involves providing quick, friendly, and precise service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable from the moment they place their order until they leave the counter. The attendant will be responsible for taking orders, handling various payment methods including cash and credit, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the service area. Working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, the attendant must exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively without compromising service quality.

Job Duties
- Redefine hospitality by living, supporting, and promoting company values
- Perform duties according to company standards, policies, and procedures
- Greet guests promptly and courteously
- Assist with menu selections and answer questions about food items
- Take guest orders accurately and input into the POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions following cash-handling procedures
- Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverage items according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter, service area, and dining area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations including proper food handling and temperature control
- Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils throughout the shift
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as directed by management
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding food preparation and guest needs
- Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Adhere to all company, department, and safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift
