Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in customer interactive environment
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage teams and lead business strategies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive business plans

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, design, retail management, sales, merchandising, or related field preferred
  • 5 years of experience in a direct customer interactive environment, preferably high volume
  • 3 years of management experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties

  • Staffing and scheduling to ensure the mattress sales team is fully staffed with the right talent and schedule coverage to optimize productivity and efficiency
  • Training and development of all team members including supporting the training and onboarding coordinator and collaborating on training material
  • Leadership and team building by recruiting, leading, and developing all team members, hosting talent conversations, setting clear expectations, and inspiring through coaching and mentoring
  • Sales and guest engagement by attaining monthly sales per hour and revenue targets, actively selling on the retail floor, engaging team members and guests, and handling escalated guest situations
  • Operational excellence by taking ownership of the sales floor and financial outcomes through execution of sales and operations standard work, driving results by focusing on standard operating procedures and creating business plans to address gaps
  • Maintaining visual merchandise standards and delivering the Living Spaces Sleep Center promise of a “store within a store” concept through energy generation and recognition
  • Building productive working relationships with the Director of Revive, mattress sales team, store leadership, other Sleep Center Managers, operations, logistics, and visual supervisors
