The Lifestyle Coordinator role at Skyline is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about enriching the lives of older adults through thoughtfully planned activities and events. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the overall wellness and engagement of residents by designing and facilitating physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual programs. The coordinator collaborates closely with the Director and other team members to implement a dynamic calendar of events, ensuring every occasion, from daily activities to special holiday celebrations, is executed with enthusiasm and care. Responsibilities include event coordination from start to finish, including setup and breakdown, as well as communicating effectively with residents and their families to foster a warm and inclusive community environment.

This role offers competitive pay ranging from $23 to $25 per hour depending on experience, alongside excellent benefits for both full-time and part-time employees. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years related experience and/or training
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written in English)
  • First aid and/or CPR training may be required in certain state/local jurisdictions
  • Completion of a background screen
  • Additional screening such as drug screen, physical, fingerprint, and/or TB test may be required per state/local guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years related experience and/or training
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written in English)
  • Ability to work effectively with staff and external constituents

Job Duties

  • Assists in planning, scheduling and conducting lifestyle programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for the residents
  • Attends all community planned functions and coordinates event from beginning to end including setup, facilitation and breakdown for the event
  • Helps plan appropriate programs for holidays and special events
  • Implements the calendar of events as scheduled by the Director/Coordinator
  • Helps distribute community newsletter
  • Provides ongoing communication with residents and, as necessary, family members
  • Assists Manager in leadership of wellness program
  • Interacts with residents, guests and staff in an atmosphere of hospitality
  • Protects the privacy of the resident when communicating oral and written information
  • Promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility
  • Performs other duties as assigned
