Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • must be able to work outside in all weather conditions if requested
  • posses the tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
  • must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • ability to work from verbal and written instructions
  • ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely verbally and in written form
  • must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and/or bend throughout the shift
  • must be able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 lbs
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug test
  • must pass pre-employment background check
  • must be a citizen of the US or posses the necessary authorization from the immigration and naturalization service (INS)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
  • previous baggage handling experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • reliable telephone and transportation
  • ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English
  • ability to read, understand and carry out instructions
  • ability to work from verbal and written instructions
  • knowledge of government, client, airport and company regulations
  • physically able to lift, carry, and hold up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet outbound passengers at terminal entrance
  • determine service need and check luggage
  • direct passengers to gate when possible and input checked baggage into baggage system
  • provide special service such as courtesy chair, bags, carts, assistance with carry-on baggage
  • provide general information to passengers, give directions and flight information
  • transport checked baggage to appropriate locations including bag room and conveyor system
  • maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and report maintenance needs
  • adhere to company policies and dress code, project positive image to airlines, staff, and public
