Job Description

Allegria Village is a distinguished senior living community located in Dearborn, Michigan, renowned for providing premier skilled nursing and comprehensive care services. As one of Michigan's leading senior living communities, Allegria Village prides itself on fostering a compassionate, supportive, and welcoming environment for residents and their families. The community offers a full spectrum of care including skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapies, and specialized support services designed to meet the unique needs of each resident. Staff members work collaboratively across departments to ensure that residents receive personalized care in a comfortable and respectful setting. Allegria Village embraces a culture of hospitality and excellence, emphasizing the importance of meaningful relationships and exceptional resident experiences throughout the continuum of care.

The Skilled Nursing Concierge role at Allegria Village is a critical position within the Skilled Nursing team focused on enhancing the resident and family experience from the moment a new resident is accepted through their admission and ongoing transition into the community. This position requires a compassionate, organized, and service-minded professional dedicated to creating exceptional first impressions and providing continuous support to residents and their loved ones. Serving as a welcoming ambassador, the Skilled Nursing Concierge collaborates closely with multiple departments, including Admissions, Nursing, Social Services, Therapy, Dining Services, and Environmental Services, to ensure a streamlined and supportive admission process.

The primary objective is to guide new residents and their families through the often complex transition from hospital or home care to the skilled nursing community. This involves personally greeting residents upon arrival, escorting them to their rooms, and introducing them to the community’s daily routines, amenities, and available programs. By maintaining consistent communication and follow-up, the Skilled Nursing Concierge ensures residents feel comfortable, informed, and fully supported. Additionally, the role focuses on fostering resident engagement by encouraging participation in activities and programs enhancing their quality of life.

This position demands exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a customer service orientation grounded in empathy and respect. The Skilled Nursing Concierge plays an integral part in fostering a culture of hospitality and compassion throughout the Skilled Nursing Center, addressing concerns promptly, and facilitating effective communication between residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team. Working here offers the opportunity to impact the lives of seniors significantly, providing meaningful support during an important phase of their lives while working alongside a dedicated and collaborative team.

Joining Allegria Village means becoming part of a respected community committed to excellence in senior care, where professional growth is encouraged, and a meaningful career making a difference is possible. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this rewarding opportunity, highlighting the community’s commitment to its employees as well as its residents.
