The role offered is the SCA Engineering Technician 1 (Assembler) position, based in Warner Robins, GA, within Northrop Grumman Defense Systems. This is an entry to mid-level role focused on the repair, assembly, modification, and maintenance of complex electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. The technician will engage with mission-critical systems and work with intricate components including cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, circuit boards, and line-replaceable units. The position involves hands-on tasks such as performing repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations, utilizing hand and power tools, conducting continuity checks, and working from diagrams and schematics. Although no government clearance is required at the outset, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance if needed. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience in repair, fabrication, and modification of complex electronic assemblies, with expertise in using controlled drawings, military-grade components, and technical orders.
