Job Description
ABM is a leading global provider of facility services and solutions, renowned for its commitment to creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments. Founded in 1909, ABM has grown into one of the world’s largest facilities management companies, delivering a wide range of services such as janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf, and mission-critical solutions. ABM serves over 20,000 clients across various industries including commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues. With annual revenues approaching $8 billion and more than 100,000 employees across 350 offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM is a respected and trusted leader in the industry.
This role is for a Site HR Partner to support approximately 200 ABM employees (non-union) along with supervisors and managers at a hospital account. The position is an on-site role (Monday through Friday) and focuses on serving as a trusted consultant to frontline leaders on human resource-related matters. The successful candidate will act as an employee champion and change agent who anticipates workforce needs and implements innovative, practical solutions driven by strong process and metrics expertise. This role requires close collaboration with account-level management on a variety of HR functions including recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, training, AAP/EEO compliance, and special projects. The Site HR Partner may also contribute to the development and refinement of unit-specific policies and programs to enhance operational effectiveness.
The role demands a proactive approach in analyzing trends and metrics to improve turnover, retention, and employee engagement. The HR Partner is responsible for partnering with leadership, Talent, and Learning & Development teams to develop workforce and training plans aligned with current and future staffing needs. A key aspect of the role is managing employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations, and ensuring legal compliance by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations. The role also entails providing guidance on performance management, coaching leaders on disciplinary actions, career development, and morale building to enhance productivity and retention.
The Site HR Partner will also play a significant role in business development and customer retention by involving directly with key customers and sharing best practices across functions. The candidate must have strong consultation, communication, and influencing skills and be agile in adapting to organizational needs. This position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000, reflecting the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Benefits include participation in company incentive or bonus programs along with a comprehensive benefits package. ABM is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion, providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, and actively participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program. ABM supports veterans transitioning into civilian careers with specialized training and career development opportunities.
