Job Description
Aramark is a global leader in food, facilities, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day in 15 countries across the world. Rooted deeply in service and united by a purposeful mission, Aramark is committed to delivering exceptional experiences for its partners, communities, and the planet. As a company, Aramark values diversity and inclusion, ensuring every employee enjoys equal employment opportunities and an environment free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
Aramark is a dynamic organization that fosters professional growth, empowerment, and the development of individual talents and passions. Whether employees seek new challenges, a strong sense of belonging, or a supportive workplace culture, Aramark focuses on helping every team member achieve their fullest potential. For those interested in pursuing a career at Aramark, resources and community connection channels are accessible through their career website and social media platforms.
The role of Site District Manager at Aramark is an integral leadership position, responsible for providing strategic vision, planning, direction, and control to multiple assigned units within a defined account. These accounts typically generate $12-40M or more in revenue, marking the position as a pivotal one in Aramark's operational and financial success. The Site District Manager oversees the execution of the General Management program, emphasizing growth, cost management, productivity enhancement, workforce leadership, and financial performance to meet and exceed targets.
Key success indicators for this role include revenue growth, EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes), margin improvement, consumer satisfaction, client loyalty, and employee engagement. The position requires an individual who can deftly manage multiple sites, ensuring operational excellence while fostering a safe and compliant work environment. The Site District Manager will also serve as a crucial liaison between clients, customers, and Aramark teams, establishing and maintaining strong relationships that support business retention and expansion.
This position is designed to support future hiring needs across a broad geographic region, without being tied to a specific job site initially. Candidates who apply will be considered for various opportunities within the region as openings arise. There is a preference for candidates willing to relocate within the designated area, as placement will be dictated by evolving business needs. This flexibility allows Aramark to strategically place leaders where they can maximize impact and drive success.
Beyond the strategic and operational duties, the Site District Manager is responsible for executing safety and sanitation standards, mentoring and coaching staff, enforcing budget discipline through diligence over profit and loss statements, and ensuring customer satisfaction via consistent delivery of high-quality services. This role requires excellent leadership skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to inspire and develop talent within a fast-paced, client-focused industry. The environment At Aramark supports continuous learning and adaptation, where job duties may evolve as business demands shift, challenging the employee to grow alongside the company.
