Job Description
Veho is a cutting-edge logistics company dedicated to revolutionizing the commerce experience by making shopping, shipping, and returns seamless for all users. As a modern end-to-end logistics infrastructure provider, Veho caters to the evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers alike, positioning itself as a vital partner in the ecommerce ecosystem. Fueled by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho empowers brands and their customers with unprecedented control over deliveries, transforming the post-purchase experience into a competitive advantage. The company’s growing portfolio boasts collaborations with top-tier consumer brands such as Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, and Sephora, highlighting Veho’s prominent role in shaping the logistics landscape.
At Veho, culture and core values are paramount to success. The company thrives on a championship team mentality, fostering a merit-based culture where individuals are encouraged to compete, win, make significant impacts, and build lasting legacies. Veho rewards performance and dedication with generous equity packages and offers incredible opportunities for career progression, supporting the growth of high-impact players. This approach emphasizes teamwork, ownership, and a commitment to continuous innovation in logistics operations.
The role of Site Director at Veho is a pivotal leadership position focused on strategically managing warehouse operations to meet and exceed performance metrics and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). This role is designed for an experienced leader who excels in process improvement, profit and loss (P&L) management, and safety compliance oversight. The Site Director will oversee multiple warehouses, managing hub and spoke operations through direct supervision, coaching, and development planning for site leaders. Collaboration with the Regional Vice President (RVP) is essential to drive network-wide operational initiatives and optimize logistics efficiency across the region.
Financial stewardship is a critical component, with full accountability for regional P&L, including managing budgets, labor, and operational costs to achieve financial goals. The Site Director will employ advanced analytical skills using tools like Excel and Google Sheets to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), leveraging data-driven insights to guide decision-making and improve performance.
People leadership and culture cultivation are equally important, as the Site Director will direct and mentor mid-level leaders, fostering a high-performance, meritocratic environment aligned with Veho’s core values: Team Up, Drive Impact, Take Ownership, Solve Bigger, Obsess Over Experience, and Make Today Count. This role requires maintaining a visible, engaged presence on the warehouse floors, demonstrating hands-on leadership and addressing operational challenges in real time. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are necessary to meet the role’s demands.
Compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $160,000 annually, supplemented by a competitive equity package. Veho also offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k retirement plan, and unlimited paid time off (PTO) for exempt-level roles. These benefits reflect Veho’s commitment to supporting the well-being and growth of its employees.
Veho is an exciting opportunity for leaders who want to join a fast-growing, innovative company shaping the future of ecommerce logistics. Together, Site Directors will contribute to building a seamless, customer-centric delivery and returns experience that defines modern commerce. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position at this time. All California applicants should review the California Applicant Privacy Notice provided by the company.
