Job Requirements
- Associate degree or some college required
- Two years of required face-to-face customer service experience or one year leadership plus one year customer service
- One year experience in event planning, logistics, or project management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively across the state
- Ability to work 50-75% off-site from home campus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or some college
- Two years of experience in face-to-face customer service or leadership/customer service combination
- One year of experience in event planning or project management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in event coordination
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three years of customer service or leadership/customer service experience preferred
- Two years of event planning or project management experience preferred
- Skilled in project coordination and problem-solving
- Relevant experience may substitute for degree except where legally required
Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Signature Events across the assigned region
- Serve as the primary contact for events involving executive leadership
- Act as a regional brand ambassador ensuring brand consistency
- Coordinate logistics with internal departments and vendors
- Manage regional event budgets and financial reporting
- Develop and implement external space rental strategies
- Identify sponsorship opportunities with Industry Relations and TSTC Foundation
- Lead the planning and execution of graduation ceremonies
- Develop contingency plans for events
- Collect and analyze event performance metrics
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet institutional standards
