This full-time position is based in Rochester, Minnesota, operating during the first shift with a work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Job Duties
- Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
- verifies kits, enters batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions
- uses appropriate mats and all required tooling
- checks equipment such as torque wrenches and screwdrivers to ensure proper performance
- uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
- may assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
- notifies leadership of any shut down situations
- enters data into process feedback system and links subassemblies to final unit
- enters quantities into operations complete when required
- responsible for the quality of their work to ensure customer satisfaction
- mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
- build subassemblies and add labels per manufacturing instructions and schematic drawings
- perform systems integration specific hand solder and inspection operations per documented instructions
- perform F-cert function to ensure final units have passed through all necessary operations
- perform final inspection of unit to ensure there are no visible defects or fingerprints and wipe down unit as needed
- add user manuals, accessory packs, cables, labels per documented instructions
- may assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype and pre-production builds
- use manufacturing routings and process instructions under moderate supervision
- mentor other co-workers in assembly activities
