The Shuttle Driver role at ABM is an excellent opportunity for individuals entering or reentering the workforce with limited experience or education. This position involves transporting passengers safely and efficiently to and from assigned locations such as airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, or warehouses. Shuttle Drivers play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer experience by providing reliable and courteous transportation services, assisting passengers as needed, particularly those with special requirements, and maintaining the vehicle's safety and cleanliness.

The position does not require prior experience or educational qualifications, as on-the-job training is provided. Candidates must, however, be at least 21 years old and may be required to hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with specific endorsements depending on contractual needs. One year of prior experience as a passenger shuttle driver is preferred but not mandatory. The role demands a commitment to safety through regular vehicle inspections, maintenance activities, and adherence to Department of Transportation standards.

Beyond driving duties, the Shuttle Driver will take responsibility for assisting passengers in loading and unloading luggage, using specialized equipment for passengers with mobility challenges, and offering excellent customer service by answering inquiries and providing directions. The role also involves meticulous reporting of any incidents or claims, maintaining fuel and maintenance logs, disinfecting the vehicle regularly, and coordinating evacuation procedures when necessary.
