This role is for a Shuttle Driver, a vital position within Towne Park’s operational team. The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests to and from locations such as hotels, hospitals, casinos, and various local sites. This role requires operating vehicles that may seat sixteen or more passengers, ensuring that all trips are conducted with safety, professionalism, and courtesy. The driver assists guests with luggage and manages vehicle maintenance and activity logs to guarantee that equipment remains in top working condition.

Towne Park’s Shuttle Drivers must hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement and be knowledgeable about vehicle inspections, driving safety, and guest confidentiality standards, including compliance with HIPAA. The position demands excellent communication skills to interact with guests, coworkers, and site staff courteously and efficiently. Drivers are also trained in wheelchair safety and may need to operate specialized equipment to assist passengers with mobility challenges.

The work schedule typically involves Monday through Friday shifts either from early morning to early afternoon or afternoon to late evening.   • pass annual or semiannual MVR checks

  • maintain DOT endorsements and bi-annual physical exam

  • ability to drive manual transmission

Job Qualifications

  • maintain up-to-date DOT endorsements and bi-annual physical exams
  • at least three years of commercial driving experience or nine years as a licensed driver
  • ability to drive manual transmission
  • proficiency in reading and writing standard English
  • effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings
  • basic math skills involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • knowledge of applicable parking and transportation rates

Job Duties

  • Shuttle guests to appropriate approved places and remember pick-up and destination points
  • communicate courteously and professionally with guests, staff, and co-workers using telephone and two-way radio
  • operate a vehicle seating sixteen or more passengers, performing daily vehicle inspections
  • protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and maintain security of client information
  • assist guests with luggage and use specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts
  • maintain vehicle activity and maintenance logs
  • ensure safe driving practices and adherence to all regulations
