Job Description

Hilton is recognized globally as a premier leader in the hospitality industry, offering a diverse portfolio that includes luxurious full-service hotels, resorts, extended-stay suites, and mid-priced hotels. With nearly a century of expertise, Hilton has continually provided exceptional accommodation, top-level service, superior amenities, and unmatched value to both business and leisure travelers around the world. The company’s global network and esteemed reputation stem from a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences and consistently exceeding guest expectations. Hilton’s vision, "to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality," encapsulates its mission to create memorable and welcoming environments for guests every day. Team Members are the foundation of Hilton's ongoing success, embodying the values of hospitality and service that make Hilton a distinguished name in the industry.

This role is focused on providing safe, courteous, and timely transportation services to hotel guests, ensuring all local area transportation needs are met as defined by the hotel. The responsibilities extend beyond driving to include assisting guests with luggage, delivering amenities, and serving as a knowledgeable resource regarding hotel services and local attractions. This includes effective communication with front desk staff to coordinate transportation logistics, maintaining the hotel vehicles in exemplary condition, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere aligned with Hilton’s brand standards. This position demands a proactive team-oriented attitude, with an emphasis on safety, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

The Transportation Attendant plays a vital role in the overall guest experience, first impressions, and satisfaction. Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor, the attendant is often the first point of contact for guests arriving at the hotel and sets the tone for their stay. The role requires impeccable customer service skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to Hilton’s brand values and quality standards. Operators in this position must drive with courtesy and defensive awareness, understanding that the hotel vehicle represents the brand’s commitment to safety and service excellence.

Beyond driving, the attendant supports various operational tasks such as assisting with guest arrivals, answering guest inquiries about hotel amenities, helping with luggage, facilitating guest room deliveries, and providing information about local dining and entertainment options. As a team player, the role also involves coordinating closely with housekeeping, engineering, and front desk teams to maintain seamless hotel operations. The opportunity demands flexibility as the hotel is a 24/7 operation, and assistance may be required in a range of guest service areas outside the typical responsibilities.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, six to twelve months of related experience or equivalent training, and strong communication skills. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and the endurance to perform repetitive and physical tasks throughout the shift. The working environment includes varying conditions such as exposure to outdoor weather, use of specialized tools and equipment, and a schedule that requires availability on weekends and holidays.

Working at Hilton offers not only the chance to be part of a globally recognized hospitality brand but also the opportunity to contribute to an environment where guest satisfaction and quality are paramount. Team members in this role benefit from a collaborative, supportive work culture dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering memorable guest experiences consistently.
