The Shuttle Driver role at ABM is a vital position based at a major airport, where the individual will be responsible for providing shuttle bus transportation services for employees and vendors. The role involves on-the-job training geared specifically towards preparing individuals for all aspects of shuttle driving responsibilities, although it is important to note that the company does not provide CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) certification training. Candidates must already possess a valid CDL Class B or Class A with Passenger Endorsement to qualify for this opportunity, which is open to applicants aged 21 and above. In this role, shuttle drivers will be responsible for performing safety inspections of their vehicles before and after trips, assisting passengers with safe loading and unloading, and maintaining clear and professional communication using airport and FCC-regulated radio channels. The responsibilities also include keeping the driver area clean and organized, offering exceptional customer service, adhering to all safety practices including DOT, traffic, client, and company regulations, and following emergency and evacuation procedures when necessary.
