The role of Shuttle Driver is integral to the daily operations of The Parking Spot. Shuttle Drivers are responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for customers between parking facilities and airport terminals. This part-time position offers shifts primarily from 8 PM to 1 AM or 9 PM to 2 AM, with compensation at $18.42 per hour plus tips and bonus opportunities. The role requires a Class B Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger Endorsement, reflecting the important responsibility of safely transporting passengers.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Holds a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement
  • Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
  • Willing to pass required physical examination
  • Proficient in English for communication and safety compliance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
  • Currently holds a CDL and any applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
  • Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
  • Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation

Job Duties

  • Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
  • Perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
  • Provide pleasant customer service
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
  • Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
  • May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
  • Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management
